The Walking Dead Season 7 is getting more intense and the recent trailer for the next episode shows that the characters will be going to war. Does this mean that a major character is again leaving the show?

Inquisitr reported that there are speculations that Chandler Riggs who plays Carl in The Walking Dead, will be leaving the show. Will he be killed off just like the previous characters?

Rumors about his departure surfaced after he revealed in his Twitter account that he got accepted into college. This followed a post of his father with the caption thanking the show for featuring his son for seven wonderful years.

This worried many fans and they think that the actor is leaving the show in order to focus on his academics. However, Riggs' father explained that the post was not about Riggs finally saying goodbye to the show but thanking AMC and the cast and crew of the show for working with his son for seven years.

On the other hand, Independent reported that a war might happen in The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 7. It was said that the episode is also the show's mid-season finale episode so fans should be in for a lot drama and action.

In the short teaser video for The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 7, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) can be seen going on a supply run with Aaron (Ross Marquand). But he is unaware that his son Carl is also on a journey to their enemy's camp. With that, a showdown between Rick and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) might happen in the said episode.

In the trailer, Negan's compound was also shown and he can be heard saying "We survive, we provide security, we bring civilization back to this world." Will Rick and his group finally defeat Negan and The Saviours?
