It was probably Brad Pitt's worst birthday last December 17, when he turned 53. He could not see his children.
But it was a pleasant day for the mother, Angelina Jolie, when she took her 10-year-old daughter Shiloh for 'camera shopping' at Samy's Camera in Los Angeles, according to Us Weekly.
"Shiloh is very interested in photography, and Angelina asked to look at some of the vintage cameras," says an inside source. "Angelina inspected the cameras from many different angles and was asking questions. Shiloh was listening intently and paying close attention."
Said the source: "Angelina told Shiloh she would love to get her the camera and asked her, 'Are you satisfied?' She told Shiloh it even had black and white, which was a nice added feature. Shiloh nodded her head but didn't talk much. She really listened to Angelina and deferred to her on everything. Angelina purchased the camera and they stayed for about 10 minutes and then left with a driver."
However, as it was Brad Pitt's birthday, it is not known how they celebrated it - or even if they did. Did anyone even wish him?
It is only one week before Christmas.
It is not known whether the poor actor will be able to meet his six children - Shiloh, Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8. He did not see them during Thanksgiving, and might not see them for long on Christmas too, though he will meet them for some time.
He has been allowed a visit for just four hours on Christmas, says Daily Star.
The Fight Club hunk and the 41-year-old Jolie, 41, are still involved in their custody battle over their children. As she had complete physical custody of the children, Pitt, even though he had been cleared of child abuse allegations by the FBI in November, has agreed to limited visits overseen by a therapist.
Angelina Jolie filed for divorce in mid-September. She, at least, is enjoying her time with her children.
