Queen Elizabeth is not ready to abdicate the crown just yet amidst report claiming that she might be retiring soon and she is already in the stage of preparing her heir for the succession of the throne.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the Queen changed her mind and will not retire since she thinks that the British Monarchy will suffer the moment she abdicates the crown. Apart from this she feels that everything will crumble when she already leaves the monarchy.
It can be recalled that the Queen suffered from intense cold during the weekend holiday that's why she was not also present during the annual church service during Christmas and it was Prince Charles who led the royal family.
An now, Queen Elizabeth is forced out of the spotlight to go back to work since she can't afford to see the monarchy left in shambles if she will already abdicate the crown so she thinks she has to delay retirement first in order to save the monarchy also.
The report further added that Prince Charles is not the number one choice of the Queen in case she retires. The Duke of Cornwall' approval ratings remain mediocre and that he was less popular until he married the late Princess Diana. Still, until these days, he doesn't get satisfactory approval ratings from the people so many are doubtful he will make a good fit to the throne.
Meanwhile, rumors are also rife that Queen Elizabeth is considering her grandson, Prince William to inherit the crown. However, the Queen again thinks that William can't lead the monarchy these days. Kate and William put the least amount of work in the year 2016 and that the royal couple had prioritized their luxurious vacations than their royal responsibilities and engagements.
Even if Kate Middleton and Prince William are considered the most popular royals these days still they have considered as "work-allergic" couple because of their low number of royal engagements for this year. Queen Elizabeth is one devoted Queen to the British Monarchy to the point that even if her health won't permit her to work, still she will go out of the spotlight just to save it.
