Marvel Entertainment is saying goodbye to the Hugh Jackman version of the beloved Marvel superhero Wolverine in an epic fashion with their upcoming film, Logan. Seeing as that this will reportedly be the last time Jackman will be playing the iconic character, there is understandably a lot of anticipation for its release.

Marvel hasn't really revealed much about the movie, except of course for its previously released teaser trailer, which is why any and all information that comes out regarding the movie is much appreciated. Now, the actor himself has released a brand new image of the movie on his official Twitter account. The image is basically his character running through the woods, either running away from something or going for the kill.

The movie's first trailer was met with positive reviews as fans ate every second of it. The trailer itself showed Jackman as an aging superhero, Wolverine, as well as Patrick Stewart, reprising his role as Professor Charles Xavier. The movie itself will be the third and final Wolverine solo film, preceded by X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009 and The Wolverine in 2013.

The concept of the upcoming new solo film is roughly based on the Old Man Logan comic book series written by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven. The setting for the movie is a post apocalyptic future where the long-lived superhero is now past his prime. Logan is then forced out of his self reclusion to undertake one final adventure.

As for the recently shared image, a report from Comic Book Movie suggests that the image could be another angle of a shot that was showcased in the first trailer. Based on the assumption, the image could very well be a screenshot from a new trailer. Coincidentally, the movie's second trailer is expected to be released sometime this month, according to Collider.

Logan is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 3, 2017.
