Enthusiasts are getting anxious while waiting for the release of iOS 10 jailbreak by Pangu. It has been quite a while since Apple released iPhone 7 and rolled out iOS 10. The update is now advancing to iOS 10.0.2 version and apparently, no genuine jailbreaking tool for iOS 10 is available to download.

It also challenges the previous Pangu timeframe of releasing a jailbreak tool in less than a month after an iOS major update is rolled out. Speculations suggest that one of the reasons for the delay of an iOS 10 jailbreak is because Apple always patches the hole by an iOS update.

Reportedly, there are some important security updates that make the jailbreak not working properly. This could also mean that Pangu is waiting for a more stable iOS before releasing any jailbreak. This remains to be seen and it might be worth the wait.

Pangu offers the iOS 9.3 firmware on its website. It is considered as the best jailbreaking tool development team because of its ability to circumnavigate the OS firmware that Apple had released in the past. The release of the anticipated iOS 10 jailbreaking tool would strengthen Pangu's status in the jailbreaking world.

Apple is also aware of attempts by independent developers to hack iOS 10 such that the company is updating its firmware to 10.2. This which would prevent phones upgraded to 10.2 from being hacked by an iOS jailbreaking tool of Pangu.

Accordingly, the iOS 10.2 would not be compatible with the iPhone 7, the most recent flagship of Apple. But it was rumored that Pangu could be just waiting first for Apple to release 10.2 before it rolls out the iOS 10 in anticipation of Apple eventually releasing a security patch. Reportedly, Apple claims no one has broken through the iOS 10 firmware, making it the most secure OS of the tech giant.
