'Pokemon Go' Gen 2 Major Update: Gen 2 Leaked Moves, Secrets, Surprise Events & More [Video]

Pokemon Go developer Niantic going to release a major new Gen 2 update very soon, according to new reports. And fans discovered lots of big new features as part of the latest update including Evolutionary Stones, Shiny Pokemon and Pocket Monster form variations. But the discovery of around 40 Gen 2 Pokemon moves has made fans most excited.

According to the Trainer Tips experts, the Pokemon Go update launch might much sooner. Players on Android and iOS are urged to do the update to the newest version, as explained in the video provided by Trainer Tips.

It further went to reveal, "When Niantic forces users to update, it's because they're about to roll something out that requires you to have code and property that are in the most recent update files."

Thus, this only goes to show that the game developer has in store something huge will arrive shortly for the game. It is likely be Shiny Pokemon, Pokemon Genders, it could be Gen 2 Pokemon and palyers will know what it is soon.  

While fans are waiting for the release of Gen 2 Pokemon and Legendaries the new reports suggests that Niantic is planning a special event for April Fools' Day. As reported by Slashgear, the new event would see a ton of Magikarp added to the wild.

The post also mentions that the reasons for release on each of the events for Pokemon GO add up to some interesting conclusions. For April Fools' Day, the gamers should look to Pokemon Medals to see what Niantic has up its sleeve.

The Pikachu medal has also became a LOT easier to attain over the past several weeks of December 2016 when Santa Hat Pikachu was made fairly common. On the other hand, The Fisherman medal is extremely difficult to obtain and would take some players years to get. 

It makes sense, thus, that Niantic would give players a helping hand by making Magikarp more plentiful. Niantic's Pokémon Go Gen 2 update is supposed to add about 100 new monsters to the game is rumoured to be dripped out over the coming months.

Pokemon Go fans have also taken to Reddit to complain about long loading times since downloading the newest update. According to the Reddit boards, Android update 0.53.1 has caused the game to pause on the home screen once the loading bar reaches 100%, reports Express.
