They were reportedly secretly married last year and neither one has confirmed it, but now, Eva Mendes may have given fans a clue about her and Ryan Gosling's relationship status.

Mendes was spotted out in L.A. this week attempting a dressed-down incognito look featuring cropped khakis and a blue flannel shirt with sunglasses and hat, but a large diamond ring on her right hand ring finger caught attention as well.

According to Radar Online, the ring has lead to speculation that she and Gosling may have secretly tied the knot, as was reported last summer, and to attempt to throw off paparazzi whenever she's out, Mendes wears her ring on the opposite hand, while Gosling doesn't wear one at all.

Neither one has ever confirmed or denied the rumors they were secretly married, which is no surprise since the two try to keep their relationship and private lives in general as out of the public glare as they can. The attempt to keep things secluded has included the pair rarely attending events together, and also keeping the news about both their pregnancies with daughters Esmeralda, 2, and Amada, secrets until the final weeks.

Their secrecy also often leads to speculation about what is going on with their romance, and this isn't even the first time Mendes wearing a ring on her right hand has led to speculation either.

Back in August of 2015, Mendes was seen sporting an Emerald ring on her right hand in several posts on her Instagram page, which led to speculation it may have been an engagement ring from Gosling. That too was never confirmed or denied.
