Kate Middleton will still attend the 2017 BAFTAS with Prince William despite reports that she is not invited in the said awarding ceremony. The Duchess will not allow the Duke to appear at the said event without her.

There have been previous reports before that Kate has not been invited because the actresses who will be attending the show fear that the Duchess will steal the spotlight away from them. But that has been changed since new reports claim that she will appear together with William.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the royal couple will attend BAFTAS 2017 which will be held on February 12, 2017. But William did not attend the said awards ceremony for two years already even if he is the president of BAFTA.

Some of the royal observers are not anymore surprised if Kate and William will be attending the awards show this 2017. It can be recalled that Kate Middleton has been reported before that she has never said no to a red carpet event.

Even if critics have slammed her before because of her attitude when it comes to her royal work, this time she will not miss this. She loves the opportunity given to her to wear designer dress at celebrated events like this.

As per Variety, Amanda Berry, the Chief Executive of BAFTA has already given her statement that Kate Middleton and Prince William will be attending the event since they are fantastic supporters of the said award-giving body. She added that they are thrilled to welcome the royal couple.

The last time Kate attended an event like this was during the "A Street Cat Named Bob" premiere and "Spectre" release back in 2015. And the last time she was present in BAFTA Awards ceremony was last 2009 when she was not yet married to William.

The 2017 BAFTAS will be exciting and a lot more different than the past years since Kate Middleton and Prince William have already confirmed their attendance. The said ceremony will be hosted by Stephen Fry and will be aired on BBC One.
