Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia together with its partner Square Enix officially publicized the new "PlayStation 4 NieR: Automata Emil Edition". This console that is "NieR Automata"-themed that features Emil's head on the cover will hit the market shelves in Japan on February 23.

According to Siliconera, Square Enix along with the Sony Interactive Entertainment already announced a limited "Emil Edition" PlayStation 4 for the forthcoming launch of "NieR: Automata" in Japan on February 23, 2017. The console featuring Emil's head will arrive with an original theme, an original design package, and the variety of choices such as a 500GB or 1TB HDD.

When it comes with the price, the model will be tagged at 33,480 yen for the 500-gigabyte version and 38,480 yen for the one terabyte version. Additionally, it was noted that the entire package includes a Jet Black PlayStation 4, "NieR: Automata"-themed top cover, "NieR: Automata" original PlayStation 4 theme, "NieR: Automata"-themed original packaging, Jet Black DualShock 4 controller, monaural headset, power cord, HDMI cable, and USB cable.

Moreover, reports have stated that the "NieR: Automata" game will be launched in North America on March 7 and in Europe on March 10, 2017 for PlayStation 4. Also, a PC version will also be unveiled sometime in 2017.

On the other news, Crunchyroll News has learned that "Automata" Director Yoko Taro, Producer Yosuke Saito, and Designer Takahisa Taura recently went on a live stream showing off some cool recording. One of the footages shows the prototype version of the demo and another one was a recording from a build that was piece together a couple years ago.

The "PlayStation 4 NieR: Automata Emil Edition" will become obtainable in Japan on February 23. But then, the avid fans of Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia and Square Elnix can now place pre-order of the limited edition console on the Japanese Sony Store.
