Vanessa Hudgens has been a regular guest on "The Tonight Show" and this time around, the "High School Musical" alum sang a very unique rendition of the "Friends" themesong. Vanessa Hudgens and Jimmy Fallon sung their own version of "I'll Be There For You" and immediately got raves and praises from the viewers.

Basically, Vanessa Hudgens guested on "The Tonight Show" to promote her the new NBC TV show, "Powerless," in which she is a part of. So how did Vanessa Hudgens and Jimmy Fallon end up singing their own version of "Friends" theme song?

According to Times, Jimmy Fallon was talking about the iconic sitcoms and TV shows that aired on Thursday nights. "Seinfield," "Cheers" and "Friends" were part of the iconic Thursday nights line-up. When "Friends" was mentioned, Vanessa Hudgens and Jimmy Fallon all went googly-eyed and gushed about the popular 90's hit TV show.

Vanessa Hudgens and Jimmy Fallon then decided to sing the show's theme song, "I'll Be There For You," as a tribute and an expression of their undying love and devotion to the sitcom that revolved around Central Perk. The Rembrandts originally sang the iconic "Friends" theme song.

While the original song had a bubbly, energetic tune to it, Vanessa Hudgens and Jimmy Fallon's rendition was more of a ballad which awakened a lot of sentiments among diehard "Friends" fans. Speaking of reunion, Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens recently sang a song together and all the "High School Musical" fans were ecstatic to see Sharpay and Gabriella sing a song together. According to Seventeen, the "High School Musical" belles sang "Ex's And Oh's" which for most of the fans, was the closest they could get to "HSM 4." 

Meanwhile, Vanessa Hudgens' participation in "High School Musical 4" remains to be confirmed by Disney. The fans of the original "High School Musical" cast are very excited and hopeful to see Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens and the rest of the gang reunite once again for "HSM" 4.
