President Donald Trump once again gave not so good comments about another state and that is California, which is part of the United States. Of course, the leaders of the nation didn't like what their new POTUS has to say, thus there have been exchanging of words.

In an interview with Bill O'Reilly of Fox News (via Washington Post), made derogatory remarks about California concerning the territory's plan to be a sanctuary state. Donald Trump admitted that he is against to sanctuary cities as it "breed crimes and a lot of problems." "California in many ways is out of control, as you know. Obviously the voters agree or otherwise they wouldn't have voted for me," he said.

By then, Donald Trump revealed that they have to well defund California if that happens as they already gave "tremendous amounts of money" to the country. Bill O'Reilly then asked the business magnate if that will be his way to oppose the nation's plan, but he then explained that it is not his weapon and he actually doesn't want to defund anybody.

"I want to give them the money they need to properly operate as a city or a state. If they're going to have sanctuary cities, we may have to do that," Donald Trump warned. On the other hand, the California leaders gave their reactions to the claims of Melania Trump's husband.

They strongly disagree that California is "out of control" just like what Donald Trump said. In fact, they proudly said that they have a well balanced budget and a high number of jobs in the newest battle between the "populist Republican and the progressive state," Reuters reported.

California's top Democrats called Donald Trump cruel and his warning to defund the state is unconstitutional if the lawmakers passed the sanctuary bill. The so-called proposal only aims to protect the undocumented immigrants in the country that the host-turned-politician opposed.
