Wrestlemania 33 is lurking around the corner with a lot of things still considered uncertain. Apart from the matches, surprises are expected to surface, and being the biggest wrestling event of the year, shocks are relatively common.

So far, however, rumors are all that can be held on to for Wrestlemania 33. Some of the more avid fans of the sports entertainment company are cordially expecting some of the most iconic matches-both confirmed and the mere speculative results.

According to Wrestlezone, one of the more intriguing and possible matches is that of NBA superstar Shaquille "Shaq" O' Neal against Big Show. After an already burning conflict between the two towering monster athletes-with Shaq entering the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale last year in the same event, it could be one match that will put an exclamation point to the massive rivalry at Wrestlemania 33.

Another is the already triggered clash between the existing WWE Univesal Champion Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho. After attacking the first-ever undisputed WWE Champion, Owens may have finally stained the friendship that Jericho held rather dear, and with the possibility of Owens losing the title at WWE Fastlane, the focus on the feud could be a lot more intensified prior to Wrestlemania 33.

While this may all be great, Randy Orton's future in the pay-per-view is still one that strikes controversy. "The Viper" recently announced his declining of a championship opportunity which earned from WWE Royal Rumble 2017, which revealed how he is to face Bray Wyatt. News has leaked that AJ Styles wishes to verse Orton, which could or could not be at Wrestlemania 33-since Orton has been known as a master mental manipulator.

One of the greatest questions is that of Brock Lesnar versus Goldberg, and while the match is confirmed, the victor is still the most uncertain part. Goldberg, having a 3-to-nothing lead against "The Beast Incarnate," could potentially get the beating that Lesnar has been craving so hard for, or if the WCW veteran can cement his name in history as the "one to beat the 1 in 21 and 1."

Questions on who could possibly be the main event in Wrestlemania 33 comes forth, more so with The Undertaker not having a fixed opponent just yet. As per Cageside Seats, the Deadman could face Roman Reigns, after the events that transpired during the WWE Royal Rumble 2017 pay-per-view. Nonetheless, a lot of things could happen in the coming wrestling event on April 2, 2017.
