MacBook Pro 2017 Specs, Features: Apple Making Their Own Processors?

Last year's Apple MacBook Pro polarized the long time fans of the laptops. People were either enthralled or disappointed. For the power users, the MacBook Pro was a step down compared to other powerful tablet PCs, and people who were just in for the aesthetic values enjoyed the TouchBar on the MacBook Pro 2016. However, MacBook Pro 2017 rumors to address all the complaints and deliver a powerful laptop.

For starters, the MacBook Pro 2016 used an Intel i7 Kaby Lake CPU, and this time around, Apple has the freedom to choose between Intel Kaby Lake or AMD Ryzen 7, according to some rumors. MacBook Pros are mainly used for content creation and appeal greatly to power users. With the limited multitasking ability of Intel i7, Apple might use AMD Ryzen 7 CPUs, as these provide greater amounts of performance-per-dollar when it comes to multitasking than the i7.

MacBook Pro 2017 might also get 32GB of RAM. A lot of people waiting for the 2016 MacBook Pro were dissatisfied as it only came with a 16GB RAM. This time around, some analysts say that Apple might pick up on the trend the Dell Precision 5520 has set and gone for a 32GB RAM for the top model of the MacBook Pro 2017.

MacBook Pro 2017 rumors also suggest that the upcoming laptop would also have a custom Apple processor primarily created for handling simple tasks like e-mail messaging and updates. This speculation directly comes from a trusted Apple analyst who says that Apple might seek to increase battery life by creating their in-house processor which would do simple tasks efficiently.
