"Kong: Skull Island" has been the third box-office giant this year as it has crossed $500 worldwide box office.

According to Screen Rant, "Kong: Skull Island" has been a box-office hit in overseas but then, it has far surpassed its domestic totals. This movie has hit the big screens of 64 other countries and it was outside the U.S. wherein the film has really shined.

In particular, "Kong: Skull Island has performed well in China and other East Asian countries. Notwithstanding its moderately low U.S. box office numbers, the movie has managed to obtain $500 million worldwide breakthrough.

It was also reported that "Kong: Skull Island" already touched $358.7 million international gross, making its international total box office expand up to $509 million. The box office hit movie also achieved $124 million total in China and it nears the U.S. gross which is over $150 million. With its performance, this film is anticipated to finish belonging to the top-10 highest-grossing English-language movies of all time in the country.
