In the latest "Avengers: Infinity War" updates, it was reported that two more familiar faces will be added to the all-star and great ensemble cast. The casts of this Avengers 4 already has a large chunk of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and now, it was just confirmed that two more members of the MCU are joining the team.

With this report from IGN, these two familiar faces included Jon Favreau, the director of "Iron Man" and "Spider-Man Homecoming" along with Gwyneth Paltrow who are expected to reprise their Iron Man roles in the upcoming third installment of the Avengers franchise. The report started when Favreau posted a photo to his Twitter account with Paltrow and captioned it with "Infinity Trinity".

Favreau was the director of the first two "Iron Man" movies and aside from this, he also played the role of Happy Hogan in the said series. Then he also reprised his role in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" as someone who watches over Peter Parker on behalf of Tony Stark.

Meanwhile, Paltrow has starred as Pepper Pots since the first "Iron Man" but he was not present from the MCU for Avengers films that included "Age of Ultron" and "Captain America: Civil War". The Comic Book claimed that she returned for just a short appearance in "Spider-Man: Homecoming".

Even if more and more stars are added to the cast of "Avengers: Infinity War", recently, veteran actor Samuel L. Jackson said he will not be appearing as Nick Fury in the first and second "Avengers: Infinity War". For the characters who are confirmed to appear in the said film, a San Diego Comic-Con 2017 poster just featured a Black Widow sporting a new hair, bearded Captain America, plus more characters from the said movie. Also, the latest suit of Spider-Man was just revealed so this then confirmed that he will be there too.

One of the film's directors, Joe Russo recently shared how the film will approach the character of Thanos, the villain in the film. He also gave some hints about the relationship of Doctor Strange and Spider-Man in the "Avengers: Infinity War". The Russo brothers also announced the start of the film's production.
