Are Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx engaged?

According to a new report, the couple's recent debut outing in Malibu, California may be followed by a major announcement about their future.

On September 14, a Life & Style magazine report revealed that Holmes and Foxx have been discussing the idea of a wedding and a baby and Foxx has allegedly taken the first step to make their relationship official after reportedly proposing to Holmes this past February.

"Katie has even worn her ring in front of friends," the insider said, "but she's always denied it was an engagement ring."

"Katie is thrilled that Jamie is ready to make things official," the source continued. "She's wanted this for years."

Holmes and Foxx have reportedly been dating since 2013 and frequently sparked rumors of a romance in recent years due to their secretive meet-ups. However, it wasn't until earlier this month when they finally exposed their romance as they walked on the beach together and held hands.

As for how her ex-husband, Tom Cruise, reportedly feels about Holmes dating his Collateral co-star, a source recently said that he feels betrayed.

“Tom has known about Katie and Jamie’s secret relationship since the beginning and it has always bothered him that they were hooking up. While Katie and Jamie did their best to keep things a secret from the world, Tom is too well-connected and found out about them shortly after their romance began,” a source told Hollywood Life. "Tom is shocked and upset that Katie is dating a costar he once considered a close friend. He feels betrayed by both of them."

Holmes and Foxx share an 11-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise. They were married from 2006 until 2012.
