George and Amal Clooney welcomed twins Ella and Alexander in June and already, the couple is facing rumors of another pregnancy.

As the Clooneys continue to enjoy life at home with their twin son and daughter, rumors are swirling which suggest that Amal has been exhibiting signs of a second pregnancy and friends suspect that another set of twins may be on the way.

On September 13, a source told Life & Style magazine, via Hollywood Life, that George and Amal Clooney would be “thrilled” to expand their family with two more babies.

“[Amal] has the same symptoms she had when she learned she was pregnant the first time,” an alleged friend of the couple told the magazine. “She’s eating like crazy and is more emotional than normal.”

The insider noted that Amal was rumored to be in the very early stages of pregnancy, which could be why the human rights attorney has shown no signs of a baby bump during her recent outings around the globe.

“During her first pregnancy, Amal barely showed for the first several months, and was active and working right up until a few weeks before the birth,” the source said. “But she was tired a lot and had trouble getting to a healthy baby weight.”

“Amal’s been loving going out to dinner while the family has been in Italy over the summer,” the insider added. “She’s craving pasta, risotto, and margherita pizza. At times it seems like she could be eating for three!”

As for how likely two sets of twins are, a doctor spoke to Life & Style magazine and revealed that the idea was certainly a possibility.

“Having twins once does increase your chance of having them again,” Dr. Pari Ghodsi explained to the publication. “Older moms are also more likely to have twins.”

George “would be thrilled if Amal is indeed pregnant,” the source continued. “He loves being a dad, and really has a more-the-merrier attitude toward enlarging the family.”
