Eva Mendes Thinks Esmeralda's Spanglish Is Awesomely Cute
Eva Mendes has finally shared something engaging about her two daughters and her relationship with Ryan Gooseling.
According to Elle her daughters, three-year-old Esmeralda and one-year-old Amada, are already well on their way to becoming the world's most adorable bilingual English and Spanish speakers.
The 43-year-old actress made a very rare appearance at Los Cerritos Center in California on Friday and was present at the mall to celebrate the launch of her new fall line when she spoke about her daughter's adorable Spanglish speaking skills.
In an Interview with People, Eva, who is often known for closely guarding her private life opened up about her family and fun stuff for instance and revealed that her daughter Esmeralda is growing under the Cuban influence.
"Esmeralda mostly speaks Spanglish right now. It's really cute. She's definitely bilingual", she said and wants Amada to follow suit.
In the interview, she mentioned as to how important it is for them to make sure that their daughters speak the language, which is also their culture. She thinks that it is mainly because of her mom, who lives 15 minutes away from her house, her daughters learned to speak Spanish. "Mom speaks to the girls in Spanish and cooks them Cuban food and we're always listening to Cuban music", she adds
Eva strongly believes speaking Spanish is a big part of their way of life and wouldn't have it any other way.
