We almost forgot about the drama between Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown. But now she’s spoken out about how she met the singer and why she filed a restraining order against him after things went left.

Tran stopped by The Wendy Williams Show Thursday and didn’t hold back when it came to speaking about her relationship with the singer.

She said she met when she worked as a personal assistant for a stylist. Williams pointed out that this was after the Rihanna incident back in early 2009.

“I went on this job and we met and you know he did the whole charming thing. So our relationship started as us being friends…It was work related so I didn’t have sexy with him or anything. Then I got into my emotions.”

Fast forward a couple of years and Tran took legal action against Brown through a restraining order.

“It became to the point where I needed to protect my safety. So that’s why…”

She said she wouldn’t go into too much detail of whether Brown got physical and how.

Tran also stopped by Ebro in the Morning on HOT 97 in New York City and spoke on her broken relationship with Brown.

She also told the radio host it was for “safety” reasons but maintained there is no ongoing feud between them.

“There’s no drama or anything like that I do have the [restraining order] in place it’s all good vibes… we live our own lives and that’s how we move. I live in L.A. I’m from L.A. So I move around how I wanna move, you know what I’m saying? So that’s what I felt that I needed.”

Brown has been pretty quiet about it lately. Only time will tell if Tran’s media rounds will lead to him speaking up.
