Gigi Hadid can't stop raving about Lady Gaga as she showered compliments over the songstress and called her an inspiration for many.

The American fashion model has been tweeting over her official page saying she was honored about being her friend and added that she would look up to Gaga as an inspiration on an Instagram post, on Sunday.

" Anything to make u smile @ladygaga!! makin my dreams come true, lookin effortlessly bad ass in tommyxgigi - so honored, my friend !! :) x," Gigi said hinting at some sort of support from Gaga ahead of this post.

The 22-year-old top model even shared a note for Gaga on her Instagram page. "Even though your time of healing you lift others, @ladygaga. It takes courage and strength to let people in on what you're experiencing & coping with (in real time!), let alone to not cut the world out. Thank you. You help and inspire so many! #notalone," she wrote.

The note is a take on Gaga's view of healing and supporting people in pain. Gaga's message which Gigi claimed to be inspiring, reads "Our minds wander we just want to re-direct them back to our calm, inner peaceful, meditative' being and just be".

Gaga acknowledged Gigi's compliment and said "Thank You" as the musical star commemorated the birthday of her late pal, Sonja Durham.

Gaga is indeed a source of inspiration sharing emotional videos showing Durham and herself together. She played her 2016 track "Grigio Girls" as she paid a musical tribute to Durham, who died fighting cancer. 'Not a day goes by that I don't miss you,' wrote Gaga accompanying the clip with the hashtag '#breastcancerawarenessmonth.'
