Almost two weeks before its premiere, Showtime's new drama Ray Donovan debuted its first episode on YouTube on Tuesday.

Ray Donovan stars Liev Schreiber as the titular character, who "fixes" problems for Hollywood clients. In the pilot episode, Ray is forced to deal with his father's release from prison. Jon Voight co-stars as Ray's father, Mickey.

Other notable actors include Paula Malcolmson, who played Katniss Everdeen's mother in The Hunger Games, Eddie Marsan, who played Inspector Lestrade in the Sherlock Holmes film series and Steven Bauer, of Scarface fame. Veteran actors Elliott Gould, James Woods and Rosanna Arquette will be playing recurring roles in the show's first season.

Showtime uploaded an edited version of the first episode on their YouTube channel on Tuesday. Before the episode begins, there is a disclaimer that explains that the episode is edited from its original form. They explain that viewers who wish to watch the unedited, uncensored episode should order the Showtime channel package. The 57-minute episode is rated TV-14 for violence, adult language and adult content.

In a Tumblr post for the free episode, Showtime announced that the episode could be viewed On Demand through cable providers as well as Showtime apps on the iPhone, iPod Touch, Android smartphones and tablets and Nook and Kindle Fire tablets. The episode is also available for download on iTunes through a free video podcast.

Ray Donovan has already received acclaim from TV critics, namely the Broadcast TV Journalists Association. The group named Ray Donovan one of the six most exciting new series of the coming TV season after screening pilots and early episodes of shows set to premiere in the summer and fall.

Ray Donovan is expected to premiere on Showtime on Sunday, June 30 at 10 p.m. The series will run for 12 episodes through the summer, ending its first season on Sunday, September 22.
