Kendall Jenner may be preparing to walk away from her successful career as one of the world's top models in order to pursue a new gig. 

As Jenner continues to land gig after gig, a source claims the 22-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star recently attended an Oscar party in hopes of mingling with actors and actresses that she hopes to one day star alongside.

“Kendall was with Hailey Baldwin, and they had an absolute ball, dancing and partying all night long,” a source close to the Kardashian family revealed to Hollywood Life on March 5. “Kendall loves an excuse to get glammed up, and what better opportunity to do so than the Oscars? It’s important for Kendall’s career to be visible, it helps raise her profile and increase bookings."

According to the report, Jenner is well-aware that her career as a model most likely has a "shelf-life" of sorts and wants to make sure that she's looking to her future and establishing her long-term career. The insider then added that since Jenner would like to break into the world of acting, it was a good idea for her to be putting herself out there and mingling with bigwigs in the industry.

Kendall Jenner Recently Scored An Acting Gig

Last month, Radar Online was first to share news of Jenner's acting dreams, claiming she is hoping her cameo appearance in Ocean's 8 will open a lot of doors for her. The report also said that Jenner's decision to stop updating her app was prompted by her desire to venture into other things, including acting.

Kendall Jenner's Love Life Remains A Mystery

Throughout the past several months, Jenner has been linked to Detroit Pistons player Blake Griffith. However, as per the usual, she hasn't addressed their relationship at all publicly. Instead, she's been staying silent about her romance as she and Griffith are frequently seen together in Los Angeles where he used to play for the Los Angeles Clippers.

While Jenner and Griffith have faced breakup rumors for months, it is unclear if they've actually called it quits on their months-long rumored romance.
