Selena Gomez is pushing through the Jelena "break' by focusing on a new project. The "Wolves" singer announced a new collaboration with Coach.

A New Venture

On March 12, the 13 Reasons Why executive producer and the Hotel Transylvania franchise actress surprised her 134 million Instagram followers with a significant proclamation. Gomez would be teaming up with the legendary fashion brand on a new project. She teased the latest project by showing a prototype of a pink blouse with white lace. It also featured a tag that featured "Coach x Selena Gomez" that was weaved into the clothing.

"So grateful I got to work on this with Stuart Vevers. Can't wait to show you this fall," posted Gomez in a statement transcribed by Billboard.

According to Today, this will be the "Come And Get It" performer's second collaboration with the iconic fashion house. It is expected that the latest collection will include outerwear, leather items, and several different fashion accessories. Also, all of the items that Coach releases will be a match with Gomez's unique style. Last fall, Gomez and Vevers teamed up to release a collection that included several different purses and accessories that were a hit with the Coach clientele. The collection is expected to drop at some point during Fall 2018.

"I always look forward to designing with Selena because she has a strong point of view. We wanted to bring cool new ideas to the table, and I loved getting her take on clothes as much as accessories this time around," said Vevers, Coach's creative director, to Today.

Distraction From Bieber

This new Coach clothes collection comes in the midst of Gomez's latest break-up with on-again, off-again boyfriend pop star Justin Bieber. While the two recording artists are taking time away from each other to rebuild relationships, Bieber's mother, Pattie Mallette, showed her support for Gomez as she made the announcement. She is also an active proponent of Bieber's relationship with Gomez.

Unfortunately, Gomez's mother, Mandy Teefey, was heartbroken to learn that the "Despacito (Remix)" singer has been inserted back into her daughter's life. While many Jelena fans shined the harsh blame spotlight on Teefey, several sources close to both Bieber and Gomez stated that Teefey had nothing to do with the latest Jelena break-up.

Two Different Paths

As Jelena continues to rebuild themselves, the pair has been on two different paths. Gomez flew back to Texas to reconcile with her mother possibly and to help her cousin, Priscilla, recover from a broken engagement. Meanwhile, Bieber decided to showcase his spiritual side with two different shirtless photos that he posted on Instagram. The images of the shirtless "Sorry" singer made Beliebers go ballistic.
