Despite recent rumors that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are taking a much needed "break," one person who knows the couple very well is still lending her support and love to one of the individuals.

Bieber's mom has reportedly been sending love to Gomez and still rooting for the two to work out their issues. The "What Do You Mean" singer's mom, Pattie Mallette, commented on Gomez's recent Instagram picture about an exciting announcement.

Gomez has another fashion collection coming for Coach and Mallette responded with party poppers in the comment section. She has always been reportedly close to Gomez and a huge supporter of her son's relationship with the "Wolves" singer.

Justin Bieber And Selena Gomez Continue To Work Things Out

The two singers are still taking time away from each other to sort through their differences. The singer was spotted in her home state of Texas and Bieber is still in Los Angeles. The couple's last public sighting was reportedly at a church but the on-again, off-again lovebirds left separately.

"Both Selena and Justin are fully committed to getting back together again, but right out, Selena just needs a little space and time on her own. It's been pretty full-on and intense between them recently, and Selena just wants to chill for a bit," a source close to the two stated.

Since the rumored reunion of the two, they have been under constant media scrutiny and it has apparently led the couple wanting to separate for the time being.

"Justin is cool with Selena taking some time out from their relationship. This time around, they're both in it for the long run, so they're committed to not sweating the small stuff, and to giving each other space when needed," another source revealed.

Bieber and Gomez began their romance as young teens in December 2010. After officially appearing together in January 2011, the couple dated until 2012. From the end of 2012 to 2014, the two were involved in an on-again, off-again relationship.

In 2017, Gomez began her relationship with fellow artist The Weeknd. The Weeknd and Gomez dated and briefly lived together until October 2017.

After Gomez received her kidney transplant due to her ongoing battle with Lupus, Bieber allegedly rushed to be by her side. Reports of Bieber and Gomez rekindling their romance began making headlines after the two were spotted at hockey games and public outings.
