Yolanda Hadid Seemingly Reacts To Gigi And Zayn's Split On Instagram

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik confirmed their breakup earlier this week and a short time later, Hadid's mom, Yolanda Hadid, seemed to address the split on Instagram. 

While the former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills didn't name her daughter nor the former One Direction singer in her post, she seemed to suggest that her model daughter needed to split from Malik in order to grow.

"And so it is....... #Life," Yolanda wrote in the caption of her post.

In her photo, a quote spoke about growing and changing.

“The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open,” the message read.

Yolanda Hadid Is Supporting Her Daughter

Around the time of the couple's breakup, Yolanda turned up at her daughter's New York City apartment with a couple of cups of coffee and a big bunch of balloons. As The Mirror explained at the time, Gigi has been relying on the support of her mother and younger sister, Bella Hadid, since splitting from her longtime partner.

As fans may know, Bella is also currently single following a two-year romance with The Weeknd and an alleged fling with Drake. 

Gigi also has a younger brother, Anwar Hadid, who lives in New York City with the family. 

Did Zayn Malik Get Dumped?

Gigi and Malik didn't confirm the reason behind their split but online, Malik seemed to hint that it wasn't his decision to end the relationship by speaking about being dealt with "lemons." He also further sparked rumors of the split being in the hands of Gigi when he unfollowed the model and her mom.

Gigi and Malik began dating one another at the end of 2015 and briefly split in mid-2016. Since then, they have faced tons of rumors regarding a potential split.

Gigi And Zayn Appeared Strong In Recent Months

Prior to their breakup, Gigi and Malik seemed to have a healthy relationship and frequently spent time with the model's family, including her mother and siblings. Meanwhile, they also enjoyed quality time with Malik's mom who appeared to support their relationship.

Gigi's father, Mohamed, has not yet spoken out about his daughter's split.
