While the premiere of the Roseanne reboot brought in record numbers and even caught the attention of President Donald Trump, fans can expect the same laughs for the upcoming episode. The show is set to address main character Roseanne Conner’s current phase of life.

Roseanne Is Still 'Young And Vibrant'

It’s no secret Conner, played by Roseanne Barr, is in a different place in her life compared to the show’s first go-around on the small screen. Now, Conner is proudly denouncing her need for any help.

In one clip, Roseanne confronted her husband, Dan Conner, portrayed by John Goodman, after he bought her an electronic chair to help her navigate from going up and down the stairs in their home.

“How am I supposed to get up the stairs to find my ice pack without my ice pack?” asked Roseanne in a scene that aired on Good Morning America Monday morning.

Dan, who many fans thought died in the original series finale, told Roseanne she needs her “Easy Climb” robotic chair, even if she doesn’t want to admit it. Interestingly enough, Roseanne refused and said she had no use for it as she stated that she is “young and vibrant.”

Things got hilarious between the longtime husband and wife duo as Roseanne tried to make it down the stairs without the chair. In true Dan form, he powers on the now infamous piece of electronic furniture so it can race Roseanne to see who, or what, will make it down the stairs first.

The upcoming episode is a follow-up of the premiere that brought in 18.2 million viewers. This is 10 percent more than the number of people who tuned in to the series finale in 1997.

Political Days Are Already Over On 'Roseanne'

While it had been said that the show would not be as political as most thought, one of the things that viewers reportedly liked about the premiere was that it showcased the Conner family embracing different political standards.

Interestingly enough, Barr made sure her character, Roseanne, would be Team Donald Trump in the show. She’s the only one in the Conner household who is a Trump supporter. Barr is a public Trump supporter in reality as well. Still, word is the premiere could be the last time Trump is a topic of discussion on the popular reboot.

Roseanne airs Tuesdays on ABC at 8/7c.
