Kylie Jenner is taking her daughter's privacy into her own hands. The young mom and reality TV star is removing baby Stormi from social media.

No Longer Sharing Photos Of Her Girl

The move came completely out of the blue as, this past weekend, the 20-year-old makeup mogul decided to take all photos of her daughter's face off Instagram.

Jenner shared a selfie of her make-up free face on Sunday. Although she was holding Stormi in the pic, most of the 5-month-old's head was cut off, with just one eyebrow and a tuft of curly hair on show.

When questions arose from fans about why the Keeping up with the Kardashians star had cut her baby almost entirely out of the pic, Jenner had no hesitation in telling her fans what's up.

"Yeah I cut my baby out. I'm not sharing photos of my girl right now," she responded to one comment.

Fans Can Still Enjoy The Classics

A few, older photos of the adorable little girl remain on Jenner's Instagram page. However, none of them show Stormi's face completely.

The very first pic of the baby is still there, which shows the then-newborn holding her mother's finger while wearing a girly pink outfit.

Likewise, a photo celebrating Stormi's turning one month old is still available, as are several pics of the little girl cuddling up to Jenner.

The most recent photo shows the young mother holding her baby protectively to her chest.

Some Things Are Private

The decision to remove Stormi's face from social media may seem like an odd one coming from a member of the extended Kardashian-Jenner clan, but it's reminiscent of how Jenner handled her pregnancy.

Although rumors swirled for months, the youngest Kardashian sibling didn't confirm she was even pregnant until she gave birth to baby Stormi on February 1.

Jenner noted at the time, again on Instagram, that she didn't want to share this particular aspect of her life with the world.

"My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how," she noted at the time.

Just a few days later, Jenner shared a YouTube video detailing her pregnancy in full so fans could get a sense of what she'd been through over the preceding nine months. She stayed almost entirely off social media while she was carrying Stormi.

This isn't the first time Jenner has taken issue with how much of her life she's expected to share online, either. Back in 2015, she tweeted about her approach to social media in general.

"My reality is.. I only show people what I want them to see. No one knows what goes on in my day to day but me & who I share my moments with," she wrote at the time.
