Kanye West is on a roll!

With his new album, "Jesus Is King", being a huge success and a tour being planned out, Kanye is living the best life.

Now, a lot of speculations has been going around lately about Kanye's next move. One of these is the possibility of running for president in 2024.

On Thursday, Kanye spoke at the Fast Company Innovation Festival in New York City and announced his plan to go for the Oval Office. In the event, the 42-year old rapper sat beside Steven Smith where he reaffirmed that he will be running for President.

When Kanye made the bold declaration, the crowd laughed. However, that was the last thing Kanye expected to happen. He then stared back in the crowd and asked them with his famous poker face: "What are y'all laughing at?"

More Awkwardness

Kanye made his points and explained why he decided to run for president. He said that by 2024, his Yeezy brand will already have many jobs to offer. He also emphasized that he is not gonna "run" for president but instead he will "walk."

After saying that, the whole crowd fell silent and uncomfortable to Kanye's announcement. However, the rapper went on and pointed out how celebrities are afraid to speak their minds, including himself.

Kanye also shared his disappointment about Forbes' hesitance to call him a billionaire and announced that he will be changing his name to "Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West."

The American hip hop artist then connected his motivation and vision by theorizing about Martin Luther King Jr. Kanye said that the American Christian minister was not assassinated because he had a dream, but because he wanted to point out economic empowerment in the black community.

Kanye's Never-Ending Dream

It's not the first time that Kanye West announced his interest in running for presidency. In fact, way back in 2015 at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, he stated his interest in running for president in the 2020 election. Now, the rapper is pushing back his plan to go for the Office.

Although he's not running this 2020, Kanye is still very much confident that he has a chance in winning the US presidential election.

In an interview on Power 92 Chicago, DJ Pharris asked the rapper about his political ambition. Kanye said that if he decides to do it, he is going to do it and it will be done. He also pointed out that his plans on running for the presidency will show him as a centrist and will show his love for both President Donald Trump and Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Kanye had praised Trump and met with him soon after the 2016 presidential elections.

Kanye has been very outspoken about his newfound life path and career that it gained so much attention and criticism at the same time for his vocal support for Trump.
