'X Factor's' Fifth Harmony New Song 'Me & My Girls' AUDIO Leaked Ahead of Common Ground Music Festival 2013 Performance
A new song from Fifth Harmony titled Me and My Girls has leaked on the web.
"Can we play our favorite songs and we scream out all night light," they sing on the upbeat tune. "When it's just me and my girls."
The song was originally meant to be heard on July 16 via Radio Disney, the group said on Twitter.
However, the five ladies - Ally Brooke, Camila Cabello, Normani Hamilton, Dinah Hansen and Lauren Jauregui - did release a video on YouTube of themselves rehearsing the tune for their Saturday performance at the Common Ground Music Festival.
The performance went well.
"LANSING Y'ALL WERE AWESOME!! Crowd was great. We had a BLAST!!! Thanks to all of the fantastic Harmonizers who came out! Love y'all so much!," Brooke wrote on Twitter.
Fifth Harmony also released their debut single Miss Movin' On in June.
"My innocence is wearing thin but my heart is growing strong. So call me, call me, call me, miss movie' on," are some of the song's empowering lyrics.
The video for the track is also coming soon.
"You guys! The music video for Miss Movin' On is coming in 3 Days!!," the group wrote on Twitter on Friday.
The young females caught America's attention as contestants on Fox's hit show X Factor in 2012. While they originally auditioned as solo acts, they were joined together as a group by the show's mentors. Fifth Harmony ended in third place on season 2.
"There is such a market now for this girl band I believe, I think where there's boy bands there'll be girl bands. We may have someone who can fit that gap," their mentor Simon Cowell said on the season 2 finale in December 2012.
The five girls signed with L.A. Reid's Epic Records and Cowell's Syco Music back in January. Their debut album will be released some time in 2013.
