The Backstreet Boys released Trust Me on Monday, the latest single off their upcoming album In a World Like This.

Trust Me is a laidback summer jam that has the band sacrificing their usual dance-pop sound for a more acoustic vibe.

"Let me tell you 'bout this girl I know / first glance and damn she stole my heart / She amazes me," the group sings at the start of the song, accompanied by an acoustic guitar. They then harmonize in the chorus, "You've got to call me / and I'm-a call you back, kiss me / and I'm-a kiss you back, love me / baby I'm-a love you back / you've got to trust me, trust me."

Numerous instruments join in with the group's harmonies and guitar by the song's end, including a jazzy saxophone and piano.

"This is our 'fun' song that we did in London," group member Howie Dorough told Entertainment Weekly, cited in a Monday report. "It makes you feel like you could be at a pub or a sports game with your mates!"

Trust Me is the Backstreet Boys second single released from In a World Like This, after releasing the album's title track on July 18. This is the band's first album since 2009's This is Us, and is the first to include all five original members since 2005's Never Gone.

Kevin Richardson left the Backstreet Boys in 2006 to pursue "other interests," but the rest of the group decided not to replace him. He rejoined the group in early 2012.

This is the Backstreet Boys 20th anniversary as a group. They will be going on tour starting on Aug. 2.
