Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have been engaged for a while now, and many fans have been wondering when they will tie the knot. Last year, the power couple was rumored to have already exchanged vows in a private ceremony, but the singer clarifies the truth.

Appearing in an interview on "The Kyle and Jackie O Show," the 37-year-old songstress laughed off the rumors that she's already married to Bloom.

However, she clarified that they have been planning their special day, but there's a significant thing hindering their plans. (watch Katy Perry's full interview with the Australian radio show below)

The "Wide Awake" hitmaker, who sported her signature jet black hair and pastel rainbow sweater on the show, noted that COVID-19 is a big factor in why they aren't married yet, saying they are still working the place where they wanted to get married.

"We're still trying to work out destination, location," she said. (via Daily Mail UK)

In addition, she's also concerned with the ongoing pandemic as there's a "new variant" popping out "every couple of months."

One of the hosts, Kyle Sandilands, joked the "American Idol" judge that she's been dragging out her engagement story with the actor.

Perry later laughed and clarified that once the cases of COVID-19 flattens out, they will be tying the knot.

According to Us Weekly Magazine, the pair was supposed to get married in late December 2019, but they were forced to postpone because of schedule issues with their vacation plans.

They changed the date to early 2020, but it was delayed again due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Per the outlet, Bloom and Perry were first rumored to be dating in 2016 after they were spotted flirting at a Golden Globes afterparty.

The following year, they reportedly broke up but reconciled again in February 2018.

Orlando Bloom popped the question on Valentine's day 2019 with a flower-shaped ring.
