After the Academy Awards announced its nominees for this year's ceremony, many fans protested online as they couldn't accept Lady Gaga was snubbed in the Best Actress category. Many people were also surprised that "House of Gucci" only bagged one nomination out of all categories.

However, despite getting snubbed, Lady Gaga made a big move online to other nominees in the prestigious awards show; what did she say?

Taking to her Instagram account, Mother Monster wrote a lengthy caption to honor her longtime hairstylist and friend Frederic Aspiras, who worked on her extensive wig collection for the movie "House of Gucci." (read the full post below)

The hairstylist is among the nominees for the makeup and styling category.

"I could not be happier for a man I call my brother, who I've worked with for the last 15 years, Frederic Aspiras, for his nomination in Makeup & Hairstyling for House of Gucci.

The "Free Woman" songstress noted that Aspiras was "magical, precise, and dedicated" months before they started filming the Patrizia Reggiani-based film in Italy and even did a year of preparation.

Gaga considers her friend as "a living geius" for his talent, and she's grateful to work with him.

Aside from Aspiras, the "Chromatica" songwriter also made a big move for this year's nominees by congratulating them on their "hard work, dedication, nomination, and magic."

The singer noted that everyone who's nominated "deserve major recognition for what was a truly beautiful landscape of performances and accomplishments this past year," and the ability to share stories despite having a hard time in the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Congratulations my friends. Bravo!" the Grammy-winning artist concluded.

The recent post comes after the Oscars announced its nominees. The Ridley Scott-directed movie only bagged one nomination.

Aside from Aspiras, who's responsible for Lady Gaga's over 55 hairstyles in the film, Göran Lundström and Anna Carin Lock also share the nomination with him.

In early reports, "House of Gucci" has amassed over $53.3 million to date and a whopping $151.8 million globally. The movie has been the highest-grossing U.S. drama during the pandemic.

Lady Gaga might not have gotten a nomination from the Academy Awards; she's currently nominated for Best Leading Actress at BAFTA Film Award, Screen Actors Guild Awards, AACTA International Award, and many more.
