Matt Lanter brought the scariest days to his wife after the actor suddenly faced a health issue that led him to receive emergency surgery.

Lanter's partner Angela delivered the shocking news to her followers on Instagram, sharing a black and white photo of her holding the actor's hand. She revealed that the "90210" actor had been struggling since Tuesday before having the emergency procedure.

She did not mention what exactly happened to Lanter, but she has since assured everyone that he is already on the mend.

"Thank you all for your prayers, love and support. We are so thankful to the awesome nurses, they are the real heroes. We still have an uphill battle and will continue to be in the hospital for a while longer, so prayers are definitely still appreciated," she wrote.

Meanwhile, her followers filled the comments section with warm wishes for the actor and the whole family.

Matt Lanter Surviving the COVID-19 Pandemic With Family

No matter what health issue Lanter is facing right now, he would surely triumph against it like how he did during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In an interview with Fatherly, the actor revealed that they were thinking of leaving Los Angeles before shooting "Jupiter's Legacy" in 2019. When they moved to Nashville, he thought he should live with his family in a place that is more similar to where he grew up - Atlanta.

Amid the pandemic, Lanter and his family have been having a good time together, saying nothing much changed for them.

"We made that decision to come here, and then (the pandemic) happened. We've stayed healthy. That's the most important thing. And I think having a little room to stretch out has helped. Physically, mentally we've stayed healthy. We've gotten through it, but, man, a lot of other parts of the country and world have not. So, I just feel blessed to be safe," he went on.

Matt famously played the role of Liam Court in The CW's "Beverly Hills, 90210" spinoff, "90210." He also played "Timeless" character Wyatt Logan before spearheading the Netflix hit flick, "Jupiter's Legacy," which premiered its one and only season last year.
