The Queen Elizabeth II Barbie will be "easily recognizable," with an ivory gown and a blue ribbon adorned with order ornaments. It is designed by Robert Best.

The doll wears a tiara modeled after Queen Mary's fringe tiara. This is special, since the monarch wore this on her wedding day.

The pink ribbon on the doll is inspired by one given to the Queen by her father, George VI, and the pale blue ribbon by her grandfather, George V.

The doll is part of Barbie's Tribute Collection, which was established last year to honor "visionary individuals who have made indelible contributions to society."

It is packaged in a box inspired by Buckingham Palace's aesthetics, with a 3D elaborate die-cut border surrounding the figure and an inside panel showing the throne and the royal room's crimson carpet.

Queen Elizabeth Barbie Doll 2022 Price, Where To Buy

Barbie's spokesperson explained why this doll is timely and highly coveted. The company's stance is that since her coronation in 1953, The Queen's exceptional reign has seen her lead with responsibility, humanitarian initiatives, and a "life of public service," uniting the nation in celebration, reflection, and community, which certainly makes her deserving to have a doll.

Interested royal fans can buy the doll at Mattel's website; it retails at $75. It's now sold out, but it is highly likely that it will be restocked.

Barbie dolls, as people know, are not really just dolls. They symbolize something meaningful for girls.

"Since 1959, the Barbie brands purpose has been to inspire the limitless potential in every girl and remind them they can be anything. That message has never been more relevant than it is today," the spokesperson added.

Queen Elizabeth II is the first queen in British history to commemorate her Platinum Jubilee.

While the Royal website indicates that events will take place "through the year," the momentous Jubilee will culminate in a four-day UK bank holiday weekend.

The Government announced in 2021 that 2022 would see an additional bank holiday, from Thursday 2 June to Sunday 5 June.

"The extended bank holiday weekend will see public events and community activities, as well as national moments of reflection on the Queen's 70 years of service," the official Royal Family Twitter account stated.

Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom celebrated her 96th birthday today, on April 21.

This Barbie doll is surely a nice birthday gift for her too.

Buckingham Palace confirmed to CNN that the Queen has moved to Sandringham, her home in Norfolk, eastern England, for a private break. The queen is seen in a portrait produced to commemorate the occasion between two fell ponies named Bybeck Nightingale and Bybeck Katie.

According to the royal family's Twitter feed, the photo was taken in the grounds of Windsor Castle in March. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Catherine, sent the Queen a birthday tribute via social media.
