The first teaser trailer for the new Roku-produced Weird 'Al Yankovic' biopic simply titled Weird: The Al Yankovic Story has dropped and it is pretty much that.

Starring, of all people, Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe - who has shown himself to be quite the comedic actor since his wizarding days at Hogwarts, having landed roles in comedies like The Lost City - Weird has him in a pretty accurate curly wig, and Al's formerly-signature mustache.

The trailer gives only glimpses into what we can expect, though from what is seen, this looks to be something special.

Listing Yankovic's accomplishments (6 Platinum Records and 5 Grammys), the trailer begins with his popular hit "Like a Surgeon" as a capacity-crowd roars in the background.

What follows is Radcliffe in a series of random scenes - some of which he is topless in, and oddly built, like a "cut out of marble" MCU character. I will admit, I am prejudging without seeing the full film, though there is something slightly off about the choice of a 5'5" Radcliffe playing a 6" 'Weird Al' with a six pack. (Though, with Al being one of the writers of the film, there could very well be a comedic reason for the casting choice.)

Co-starring in the film is Evan Rachel Wood as Madonna, and Rainn Wilson (of The Office) playing Yankovic's inspiration for getting into parody songs, Dr. Demento. Featuring Hawaiian shirts and accordions galore, this is sure to be a spectacle to behold.

Presently in post production, there is no release date as of yet. But you can get a sneak peak of Weird: The Al Yankovic Story right now.
