Teresa Palmer Announces Engagement to Actor Mark Webber on Twitter
Warm Bodies actress Teresa Palmer is engaged.
Palmer confirmed in a tweet Saturday that she is indeed engaged to Goodbye World actor Mark Webber.
"I think I've said the word 'fiance' over 100 times in the last few hours," Palmer tweeted. "It sounds so nice. So happy."
Twitter is actually sentimental to the couple. The 27-year-old actress and the 33-year-old actor met through the social media site last September.
"This is actually really embarrassing...I looked him up after I saw the trailer for his film End of Love and realized we had so much in common," Palmer told Australia's Herald Sun on March 24. " "There were lots of emails going back and forth ... it was like old-fashioned love letters in a way."
Palmer went on to talk about how thrilled she is to have met Webber, who has a son Issac Love with actress Frankie Shaw.
"My family and friends really love him, and I think he's changed my perspective on a few things about my life," Palmer said.
Webber announced to Twitter on Aug. 1 that he is taking a break from all social media for a while.
The actor tweeted, "Love to you all!!! What a great outlet this can be, but I'm taking a break from twitter, and all social media for awhile.... Stay BLESSED."
