Sources involved with the investigation of the death of Tyler Sanders claimed that the whole thing is being treated as an overdose case. It can be remembered that when news broke out of his death, there were rumors that it was either murder or suicide.

TMZ has now been told that Tyler, who had roles in popular shows like "9-1-1: Lone Star" and "Fear the Walking Dead," had a history of substance abuse, and the room where he passed away had a plastic straw and a white powder. Therefore, there is a higher chance of him having died due to accidental overdose.

On June 16, the body of 18-year-old Tyler was found inside his house in Los Angeles. Tyler's friends contacted the authorities to report that they had not heard from him after a night out, and that was the event that resulted in the discovery of his death.

Tyler was laid to rest in Houston. Someone who attended the funeral revealed that Tyler's dad, David Sanders, performed the eulogy and told the congregation that Tyler passed away as a result of an apparent drug overdose.

It has been related to us that Tyler first had symptoms of depression already when he started filming "9-1-1," and his father mirrored some of Tyler's own words at his burial, talking about how Tyler's brain was wired in a way that prevented him from experiencing joy.

As soon as the results of the toxicology test are in four to six months, the coroner will make a determination as to the official cause of death for Tyler.

Sanders' friends, relatives, and admirers have all expressed their grief over the news of his death.

A relative said, "This is a fine young man full of talents. I have always been proud to call him my nephew and he will truly be missed by many in this world. I regret to have not publicly announced how truly proud I was of this young man. He is what I call a 5 star individual."

Sanders got his start in the business at the tender age of ten. To gain fame, he played the young Jake Otto in an episode of "Fear the Walking Dead" after first appearing in several short films.

"Just Add Magic," in which he played Leo, was his big break in 2019. Having starred in Amazon's "Just Add Magic," he has been cast in a spin-off of the series, "Just Add Magic: Mystery City."

"What About Barb?" "The Rookie," and "The Reliant" were among the young actor's final film credits before he died.
