A cast recording album of the current revival of Into the Woods is set to come out this fall.

Originally, the production was intended to be a simple, limited run at New York City Center. However, after an overwhelmingly popular response to the production and a few changes in cast, the show made its way over to Broadway. It has now been running, with similarly maintained popularity, at the St. James Theatre, for just under a month. People are dying to experience this incredible show over again.
Well, soon, everyone will be able to. Once a show hits Broadway, everyone crosses their fingers, (in a very Into the Woods way) saying, "I wish," to the potential of a cast album.
Now we know there is one on the way.
This incredible cast is coming together to create a new cast album for their production of Into The Woods, set to come out this fall. This is the second Broadway revival that the incredible Stephen Sondheim classic has seen.
Now, this incredible cast, including Patina Miller, Sarah Bareilles, Brian D'Arcy James, Phillipa Soo, Joshua Henry, Gavin Creel, and many others will forever be immortalized on the recording. We can't wait to go into the woods with this cast over and over and over again.
