Prince Charles' plans to slim down the monarchy are seemingly finalized.

Royal fans have been opposing Prince Charles' desire to only retain the central members of the royal family once he succeeds on the throne. Although he is yet to score the crown from Queen Elizabeth II, the potential lineup of royal members for his plans has been revealed.

During the latest episode of the Daily Express' "Royal Round-Up," royal correspondent Richard Palmer talked about the Prince of Wales' royal shake-up plans and told Pandora Forsyth who he thinks would make the cut within the future line-up.

"Certainly you will have King Charles and Queen Camilla, as we now know. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be Prince and Princess of Wales, almost certainly. Their children, eventually, but we are a long way off that yet," he said.

Palmer explained that the three Cambridge children would also join the list as they already began doing engagements with their parents. He also expects George to starts working on individual duties once he reaches his mid-teens to late teens.

Aside from Prince Charles, Camilla, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Palmer claimed that "the jury's out really."

As for Princess Anne, the Prince of Wales remains appreciative of his sister. However, a role for her is not certain as of press time.

Are Prince Harry, Meghan Markle OUT?

Before Palmer's comments, it was being discussed whether the Sussexes would make it to the list.

The Telegraph, per New Zealand Herald, said that the Prince of Wales might start by deciding how many patronages and engagements the royal family should accomplish. From there, he would determine how many people he needs to achieve them.

The initial list, unfortunately, did not include Prince Harry and Meghan.

At that time, only nine royals have made it to Prince Charles' list, including his wife Camilla, Kate, Prince William, Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Sophie, and the three young Cambridges - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Princess Louis.

However, royal author Tom Quinn still noted during his To Di For Daily podcast appearance that the Sussexes might only feel interested in returning once Prince Charles becomes king.

"One interesting thing an insider told me... is that both Meghan and Harry believe that when the elder royals die - in other words, Elizabeth - they may well be able when Charles is King, be able to come back and be the part-time royals that they really wanted to be," he said, as quoted by Express.
