It's a "complex" time for Kelsea Ballerini. The "Love me like you mean it" singer gets emotional in a TikTok amidst her recent divorce with ex-husband Morgan Evans.

The singer couple recently called it quits in an announcement by Ballerini in a now-expired Instagram story. Ballerini shared the "deeply difficult experience" that she and Evans are going through a divorce. Shortly after, Evans shared the same news in his own Instagram story. The ex-couple shared five years of their relationship.

In a recent TikTok, the 28 year old singer was seen crying in the bathtub wearing only a heart-shaped gold necklace while listening to "Complex" by Katie Gregson-MacLeod. Mascara-streaked from tears, Ballerini appears emotional as the song plays out, "We won't be together, but maybe the next life."

Fans Are Left Emotional

As the video ends, the emotional singer submerges herself in the bathtub dramatically. The singer was silent during the whole TikTok, but her message resonated as fans reached out to comfort her in the comments section.

"Also going through a divorce. Praying for you, brighter skies are ahead" one user shared her similar experience in support of the singer. Another user shared their gratitude for Ballerini, "And they say celebrities don't have bad days. Thank you for showing us we are all human. I love you and am praying for you. Much love" they wrote.

The singer has shared how she feels recently through TikTok songs, in which fans continue to support her during her difficult times.

Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans' Relationship

The singer couple's relationship timeline dates back to 2016 after co-hosting an awards show in Australia. After 9 months of dating, Ballerini announced their engagement in a now-deleted Instagram post on December 2016.

In 2020, the "HEARTFIRST" singer told Access Hollywood about her initial hesitation about marriage before meeting Evans.

"I've always loved the idea of relationships and love and all that, but I wasn't sure I wanted to do the marriage thing," Ballerini explained. "My parents got divorced so I was kind of always really aware of that. As soon as I met him, he was just careful with the way that I love. And I always felt very safe loving him."

Following the announcement, no details have been given as to the reason for Ballerini and Evans' divorce.
