When Prince Harry and Prince William learned that Queen Elizabeth II's health was failing, they rushed to Balmoral Castle with their royal family.

After hearing the news, King Charles III, the Duke of Cambridge, and the Duke of Sussex hastened to the Scottish Highlands refuge. Initially, it was assumed that Prince Harry would fly see his sick grandmother with his wife, Meghan Markle, but a statement subsequently clarified that the Duke of Sussex would be traveling alone.

Instead of flying with Prince William, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, and Sophie Wessex on an RAF aircraft from London to Aberdeen, the Duke of Sussex flew in his own private plane.

According to The Sun, he missed the RAF flight because King Charles III reportedly informed his son it was "not suitable" to bring his notorious wife, prompting a dispute.

A source told the outlet, "Harry was so preoccupied with getting Meghan to Balmoral and rowing with his family that he missed the trip."

Five minutes after Queen Elizabeth II's death was announced at 6:30 p.m. UK time, Prince Harry's separate airplane arrived in Aberdeen.

The father of two was then taken within the gates of Balmoral Castle 90 minutes later, and he reportedly refused to have supper with his father, brother, and stepmother that night.

According to the source, the new king extended an open offer to the Duke of Sussex to dine with him anytime he was in the country, but the younger prince was so upset that he refused to eat with him and his elder brother.

"It was a huge snub. And he left Balmoral as soon as possible to catch the first commercial aircraft back to London."
