Emma Roberts was snubbed as she attempted to cut the line at a popular eatery on Thursday, the day after her latest film, We're The MIilers, arrived in theaters.

Roberts was photographed standing in a long line outside Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York City on Aug. 8. The cafe is popular for its "cronut"--a croissant and donut combination.

The 22-year-old looked visibly frustrated while waiting in line with her publicist. When the pair skipped the line and tried to use Roberts' celebrity to get into the shop, their request was denied by security at the door. Roberts was seen leaving, shortly after she was turned away.

We're The Millers arrived in theaters on Wednesday. In the film, Roberts plays a teenage runaway. The 22-year-old stars alongside SNL alum Jason Sudeikis and Friends star Jennifer Aniston. Together they play a fake family trying to smuggle massive amounts of marijuana into the U.S. from Mexico.

Roberts made headlines last month when she was arrested for domestic violence on July 7 for a fight with her boyfriend Evan Peters in a Montreal hotel room.

Her arrest shocked fans because of her squeaky-clean image and major Hollywood connections--her aunt is A-list actress Julia Roberts.

She confessed during a recent interview that she is aware that her public image is different from who she really is as a person.

"I'm sure everyone can say this, but a lot of people perceive me differently from how I actually am," Roberts confessed.
