Donald Trump reportedly believes he would win a popularity contest against superstar Taylor Swift.

Rolling Stone reported that the current Republican presidential frontrunner is not worried about Swift potentially endorsing his Democratic competitor, President Joe Biden, in the 2024 race.

According to the report, Trump allegedly told confidants that having A-list celebrity endorsements wouldn't sway voters in Biden's favor.

An unnamed Trump insider and another anonymous person with knowledge of the matter told the outlet that the former president has privately said he is "more popular" than Swift.

According to the sources, Trump also said he has more committed fans than Swift, who has a famously dedicated and loyal fanbase.

The Trump insider also reportedly claimed that the former president expressed discontent over not being named Time magazine's 2023 Person of the Year, allegedly telling his inner circle that this decision "obviously" made no sense.

Swift was announced as Time's 2023 Person of the Year last month. Trump held the title in 2016 after he was elected president.

In 2020, the "Cruel Summer" hitmaker endorsed Biden, telling V Magazine she would "proudly vote" for him and now-Vice President Kamala Harris because "under their leadership, I believe America has a chance to start the healing process it so desperately needs."

Swift has not yet endorsed a presidential candidate for the 2024 race.

But according to The New York Times, the Grammy-winning artist is a key figure on Biden aides' "wish lists of potential surrogates."

Aides reportedly jokingly floated the idea of Biden appearing in one of Swift's "Eras Tour" stops.

The "Anti-Hero" singer has proven to be a political force. Vote.org saw a surge in voter registrations last year following an Instagram post by Swift urging her followers to register, Insider reported.

According to Rolling Stone, Trump allies are reportedly gearing up for a "holy war" against Swift if she decides to publicly support Democrats in the upcoming election.

However, in a statement to the publication, Jason Miller, a senior adviser to the Trump campaign, dismissed the potential impact of a Swift endorsement for Biden.

Miller referenced rising inflation rates and one of Swift's hit songs, stating, "Joe Biden might be counting on Taylor Swift to save him, but voters are looking at these sky-high inflation rates and saying, 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.'"

In August 2020, Swift publicly criticized Trump's attacks on mail-in voting and his leadership during the pandemic.

"Trump's calculated dismantling of USPS proves one thing clearly: He is WELL AWARE that we do not want him as our president," she wrote on X, formerly Twitter, at the time. "He's chosen to blatantly cheat and put millions of Americans' lives at risk in an effort to hold on to power."

Trump also took jabs at Swift in 2018 after she endorsed two Democratic candidates running for office in Tennessee, as seen in a video posted by ABC News.

Trump said at the time, "I like Taylor's music about 25% less now."
