One of Ivanka Trump's recent Instagram posts received criticism from a Bollywood star.

On Tuesday, Maria Goretti reposted an Instagram update by Trump on her Stories and expressed how "appalled" she was by it.

Apparently, the Bollywood actress noticed the use of an elephant as a prop in one of the photos shared by the former U.S. president's adviser. The snap was taken when Trump attended the lavish pre-wedding festivities for billionaire heir Anant Ambani and his fiancée Radhika Merchant.

In Ivanka's photo that Goretti reposted, the 42-year-old second-born child of Donald Trump showed off her sparkly yellow outfit with an elephant in the background.

"I'm appalled at this picture of the Ambani celebration," Goretti wrote.

She continued, "I don't think this should happen to any animal, especially animals that are being rescued and rehabilitated. Heartbreaking. [It's] just heartbreaking that this elephant was made to stand like a prop, in the middle of noise and people."

The Indian MTV VJ expressed her concern and disappointment over the treatment of the elephant during the event, which Ivanka attended alongside other high-profile people, including Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and pop and R&B singer Rihanna.

Per Times of India, approximately 2,000 people were included in the prestigious guest list.

The extravagant event was for the upcoming wedding of Mukesh and Nita Ambani's youngest son, Anant, with the daughter of Encore Healthcare business tycoon Viren A. Merchant and Shaila Viren Merchant, Radhika, in July.

The event was grand because Anant's father, Mukesh Ambani, is India's wealthiest person, with a net worth of $117.5 billion. He is the managing director and chairman of Reliance Industries.

Ivanka attended the Ambanis' event with her husband, Jared Kushner, and their eldest child, Arabella, 12.

In the series of posts she shared on her Instagram account, she described the event as "enchanting" and "magical."

During the three-day extravaganza, she wore outfits and pieces of jewelry from Indian fashion designer Manish Malhotra.

On the last day of the celebration of Anant and Radhika's love story, Ivanka wore a matching yellow outfit with her daughter. The mother and daughter duo even posed on a swing in their color-coordinated dresses.
