Rumors have swirled that girl-group Danity Kane will reunite on stage at MTV's Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 25, 2013.

According to a report, an illusive website for the group recently hinted at a reunion that will take place coincidentally on the same day as the VMA's.

"The countdown is on DanityKane.com," a twitter handle for the group posted Wednesday,  with a time table that indicated 11 days, 4 hours, 4 minutes and 23 seconds.

Dawn Richard, formerly of Diddy's Dirty Money group said in a recent interview that she will only join another group if it's with her "sisters" of Danity Kane.

"If they ever call, and they're ready, I'm f**king ready." Richard said.

The singer expressed excitement that she and her former band mates, including Shannon Bex, AuBrey O'Day and Andrea Fimbres have reconciled after their tense breakup, but remains surprised that Diddy handled the situation the way he did.

"I didn't expect that to be the ending," she said, about infamous meeting that left the group torn.

Danity Kane fell apart in 2009 after Diddy kicked O'Day out the group following a few on-camera fights on their reality show Making The Band, and supposedly favoring Richard, whom he was molding for a solo career.

Enstars reported earlier that Richard, Bex, O'Day and Fimbres were spotted in the studio with Freshman 3, producers of Chris Brown's latest hit-single, Love More in July.

Woods was not with the women at the time.

During a 2009 interview with Hollyscoop, Woods, 28, opened up about the group coming to end, saying it was the only way to resolve their "outstanding issues."

"I know that I did my very best in the situation ... I provided us with choreographers, with management, song writing, and everything that I could. But if your services are not being appreciated, you gotta take it elsewhere," Woods said.
