Lamar Odom personal struggles and marital problems have put a damper on his future with the NBA.

The former Clippers star reportedly went missing for three days, with no one knowing about his whereabouts.

According to reports, Odom's alleged drug struggle over the past two years have left many teams undecided if they want to offer him a contract, including the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers.

"The Lakers & Clippers and any team for that matter in the NBA have stepped away from any deals to have Lamar on the team," the source revealed. "He is a major liability and they don't want to take the money risk on an older player on drugs and marital issues. Especially Lamar, who has the whole Kardashian soap opera to deal with as well."

Enstars reported earlier that at one point, the Lakers and Clippers were among the top teams that were interested in Odom.

"The Lakers desperately need a big man now that Dwight Howard left the team, and since Lamar had his best seasons with the Lakers and he fits well with Kobe, it's a natural fit," our source revealed, adding, "Lamar wants to stay home in LA and the Clippers were an option, but they are moving forward without him, so the best option is the Lakers. It's all paperwork and money at this point."

TMZ noted that Odom's drug addiction has caused a threat in his marriage with Khloe Kardashian.

While the reality star has yet to address the rumors about her marriage, she took to Twitter to express her frustrations about people talking negatively about her family.

"Really hard to sit here and listen to people talk sh** about my family! F*** you and shame on you! I'm too protective for this shit!" she tweeted Sunday.
