Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria Baldwin have debuted the first photos of their new baby girl Carmen.

In an exclusive People magazine issue that hits newsstands Friday, the happy couple post with baby Carmen and gush on what's it like being parents to the little tot.

"It's a second chance for me in a way," the 55-year-old actor said. "Everybody knows I had a pretty unpleasant custody battle for Ireland. 

With 17-year-old daughter, Ireland Baldwin, "well-adjusted and as happy as one can be," Alec said the past is behind him and wants to move forward with making the ladies in his life happy. 

"We just want things to be easy, to be nice," he said.

First-time mother Hilaria is absolutely in love with the newborn. 

"I knew I was going to love her a lot, but it's incredible how deeply," she said. 

The Extra correspondent and Yoga instructor loves being a mom, but is already feeling the effects of full baby duty.

"Now I'm getting to the point where if I don't sleep, I'm going to start walking into walls," Hilaria said. 

"She sleeps like a rock all day. And at night she's like, 'Let's have a conference,'" Alec chimed in. 

Hilaria even took to Twitter Monday to say, "Motherly love is letting daddy & Carmen sleep while sacrificing my own siesta by holding her in just the position she wants".

Enstars reported earlier that Hilaria, previously told Rachel Ray that she liked the name Massimo for the couple's baby. But she said they were going to way after the baby was born to decide on an official name. That was after the found out they were having a girl.

"I think you actually have to look at it once it pops out and say, 'Who are you? What is your name?'" she said.
