Jenny McCarthy made her debut on The View when the show returned for its seventeenth season last week and admits she is "still learning the ropes" as she enters her second week on the hit talk show.

"I really had to go with my instincts and didn't want to ruffle feathers too much the first week," McCarthy told EnStars at the McDonald's New Mighty Wings Launch Party in NYC Sunday night.

"I'm just glad I haven't been fired yet," McCarthy joked.

"I was nervous coming into this sorority that has been here a long time, but everyone has been really supportive," McCarthy said, adding that Sherri Shepherd has been taking her "under her wing" and showing her the ropes.

"I'm excited and ready to spread my wings," she said. "I'm looking to incorporate new segments into the shows, like a relationship segment, a field segment. I want to Jenny-ize it more as we go along, but right now, I'm just learning to play the game."

McCarthy is looking forward to her time on the show, revealing that Bradley Cooper would be her dream guest interview.

"I got to work with him a little bit in L.A. He's the nicest guy -- and he's so cute to look at," she gushed.

Catch Jenny McCarthy on The View weekdays at 11a.m. ET on ABC.
