The Louisville Cardinals football team will be going head-to-head with the Florida International Golden Panthers on Saturday at noon.

The no. 7 ranked Cardinals will be hosting the Golden Panthers on their home turf at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium in Louisville, Ky. Louisville has outscored their first three opponents this season at an average of 40-9, easily beating them.

Conversely, Florida International has lost all of their first three games. The team has less than 200 yards of total offense this season and has only scored an average of 7.7 points per game. FIU has lost its two home games this season, losing 13-34 to Bethune Cookman and 0-38 to UCF. First-year head coach Ron Turner leads the team.

Louisville star quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has had an arguably impressive start this season. The quarterback is already getting buzz for a possible Heisman trophy with exceptional stats so far in 2013. Bridgewater is ranked third in the nation in gross passing yards with 1,002 and fourth in passing efficiency with 201.3 points. He also has a 10/1 ratio in touchdowns/interceptions.

"Teddy's played well each and every game," Louisville coach Charlie Strong told The Miami Herald recently. "Our players understand that on offense as he goes, the team goes. We still have a lot of games left, but Teddy's performed at the level we've expected him to."

The Louisville Cardinals will face off against the Florida International Golden Panthers on Saturday at 12 p.m. The game can be streamed live on ESPN3 here.
