MTV and VH1 released never-before-seen rehearsal footage of Nirvana on their Live and Loud concert tour in 1993 on Sept. 23.

The concert was filmed on Dec. 13, 1993 at Seattle's Pier 48 and was aired on MTV as Live and Loud. The rehearsal footage of the band, released on Sept. 23 and aired on the music networks, shows them playing Very Ape and Radio Friendly Unit Shifter. Kurt Cobain takes on drummer duties on Very Ape.

The footage was released a day before the of the deluxe reissue of In Utero, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of the band's final album. The special box-set will be accompanied by a DVD that features the Live and Loud performance in Seattle, which was part of the In Utero tour in 1993. The performance was also one of the band's final concerts.  

The anniversary edition deluxe edition will include three CDs featuring a new mix of the album, a never-before-heard instrumental, Dave Grohl's first demo Marigold, new liner notes by Bobcat Goldthwait and Kurt Cobain's hand-written lyrics.

Fans will also be treated to the raw versions of Heart-Shaped Box and All Apologies produced by Steve Albini, versions that weren't touched up by Scott Litt (producer of R.E.M), who mixed the LP.

The three-disc set will include 70 songs, two versions of In Utero (the original LP remastered and the newly mixed album), and 40 tracks of unreleased demos, rehearsals, live performances and B-Sides. The special anniversary issue can be be pre-ordered on iTunes.
